I really want to be a successful business owner and become financially free before I turn 25 in 4 years but discipline and fear of failure/rejection seems to be holding me back. I am in the network marketing industry and there is a lot of money to be made in my company. I hear and see people everyday doing it. I just haven't been able to get pass my past and move forward in this endeavor. Can anyone help me??? Am I the only one dealing with this???

The things we ought to do we tend to have to fight to achieve. So, don't be so hard on yourself. I can remember being 21 and trust me, I had my own fears, but life wasn't over and my dreams didn't stop. The key is....to keep your eyes on the reward and to list each step needed that will bring you closer to your reward. When fear creeps up, don't give attention to it, eventually it will be defeated. Sometimes, I'll have this thought, "Nike says Just Do It!" And that's so true, often times we need to just do it. Be encouraged because you're obviously on the right track!

It seems like other things are coming easy but this is just like pulling teeth for some reason. Thanks so much for the advice and encouragement Takeya! I really appreciate it!

It may sound strange but when you push through the fear and do it anyway it, the fear, disappears into thin air. I heard a Pastor say that FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. In other words we let the thought of something that we have not even experienced yet scare us stiff to the point that we don't make a move. I use that to motivate me to confront the fear.
Also, if you don't take the rejection personally it helps. They are not rejecting you but the idea or opportunity itself. No one brags about failure but many successful people will tell you that they failed many times and learned a lot during the process. Embrace it, learn from it and keep moving towards your goal. Wishing you much success!

Since I wrote this nothing has really changed pertaining to my business but other things have certainly changed. I don't know what it is that is preventing me from running my business the way I should. The only thing that I have a hard time doing is sharing my opportunity. I can do a presentation in front of people I just have an issue making phone calls which is how we make money using the system we use.
