Tired of every channel you turn to there are bottles and fist throwing all about hate and violence with no family love or friendship loyalty. Well finally someone is trying to take us back to when we watched good solid family fun TV shows with lessons to be learned.

Watch the Soul Man! this is the very first episode with Cedric the entertainer and Niecy Nash they trying to get our heads out of the bullying and violence that is not only corruptible and offensive but corrupting

our children if you let them watch that kind of stuff. Me personally yeah I watch it but I also balance it out with fun clean shows that portray woman of class who made it to the top not by stepping outside of someone else's shadow but with the the brains God gave them.

So if you are looking to switch it up a little bit kick back and watch someone as funny as Cedric and as Beautiful and classy as Niecy here you go it's on me.

There are some cute moments in this show but there's a lack of respect to the office of the pastor. A little research would have made this show a big hit. Why is the pastor wanting a beer to watch the game? Why does no one want the pastor to share scripture? Why is he praying with his eyes open and never saying in Jesus name, Amen? He doesn't even say Amen for the most part....And what pastor, even one with this guy's background, lets his wife walk into church with that outfit? Again, I have a lot of problems with this show. It could have been a big hit if more reality was added in.

It is a big hit. It´s just not a big hit for you. You can´t please everybody all the time and the streamlining to appeal across the spectrum is open to interpretation. Your interpretation is yours and yours alone and you make the choice not to do or watch what it is you deem fit for yourself. With all of the horrible shows on TV now with low morals, I think this a very refreshing way of reminding us of quite a few things that we should appreciate.

In terms of refreshing when compared to most of what is on TV, I'd agree for sure. My point is this show could have been so much better if they stayed a little more true to reality.

Once again, individuals who have no personal relationship with or responsibility to CHRIST making the effort to hold belief in CHRIST up for ridicule. We who are born again are not the ignorant bumbling fools that so many see us as. I agree, too bad no one actually asked real Christians for advice.

Right after Cedric's character says "Still looking for that sign", I would have loved to see a bolt of lightening strike that set right off the network.

I love the actors..., they have to work on the scripts and lessen the "can=laughter"..., it's irritating. Not so much of Niecy's breast..., I think I see aerola in one shot!

Oh, this is a winner! Cedric and Niecy, what a pair! And a great supporting cast! But somebody tell me, who is the cutie pie playing Sister Williams? And is she married?

Very cute show and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very down to earth and honestly and humorously deals with the challenges of changing lifestyles.
