What i do: Fashion (wip) & Textiles Designer ( a little something for now fabrics) , Jewelry Designer (wip), Graphic Artist (not professionally), and Singer/Songwriter working on material
Vision: To become a more successful business owner. I could never see myself working a 9-5! Not unless it was to supplement my income & helping carry me through harder patches of being a business owner.... THAT'S IT! When you tell people your "dreams" a lot of them tend to try to knock you down! As long as your own faith remains.... you will be fine and so will i.
Currently: I am working on my launch of products & my video media. Also, for right now i blog on shesococky.com a place where i can show my "aesthetic" (check it out) & @SheSoCocky is "twome".....

Name is LeKeisha, out of Dayton, OH!
I am less than a month in to the official launch of my online and soon to be print magazine, Ambition Magazine. I am working to find writers, editors and designers to just make this a more full circle vision. Currently I am a one woman band with contributing writers. In addition to the magazine I also do small business consulting on the side, which has taken a back seat to my own ambition. I look forward to working with those who want to work. The conversation is great but I want to WORK :-)
I have many other business ventures I want to expand into but I just want to make sure I have each one working properly before adding the next. Especially because I still carry a part time job to help fund my projects, but hopefully not for too much longer.

Why should you care?
Not only am I putting my best foot forward when it comes to my books, I will be publishing some of the best works in African American fiction and poetry. I'm an avid reader, so I know that it's hard to find a good book to read! So I am striving to give you page turner after page turner. I want to be one of your favorite authors and I want you to look to LJP first for your literary needs!
Also (the most important thing to me) you should care and support me and LJP because my goal is to get everyone to read! Let's erase the myth that Black people don't read. Let's make the person that said, "If you want to hide something from black people, put it in a book," ...eat his words! I am creating and publishing novels and book of poetry for everyone! Drama, romance, street lit, books for men, young adults, children, spiritual, Christian fiction and more.
I want to see more books in the hands of African Americans, whether it be my book, a LJP book or someone else's creation, I am promoting reading!
