We are in the same boat. I know I want to start a business, I have an idea on the types (yes more than 1) but I have no idea on how to get started!

One of the things you ladies can do once you decide what type of business you want to start is find out what type of license(s) that your state requires. I also suggest finding a mentor, someone who has been in the field and has experience. They can help you through the process.

Hey Ladies in addition to Katreesa's suggestions I would recommend doing extensive research and preparing a business plan.  My mentor once told me "An idea with no plan is just a dream".

I agree with educating yourselves on your state's regulations and laws. Connect with other entrepreneurs locally and not-so-local through networking events, online forums, etc. best of luck to you all!
