Friends are always hard to come by. But I consider myself someone that has a lot of good friends except for one. It's the person that I've pretty much known the longest, meaning ten years or more. We used to do a lot together like take trips and party, basically the things that girls do. But as we got older and our circles began to expand in different directions, I saw a change in attitude. And now I am expanding my family and expecting a baby and this person has called me maybe once or twice to check in. I'm a little offended and hurt. Has anyone experienced this?

Mel, I believe that sometimes we can actually out grow friends that have been in our circle for years. Not because you love them any less but because you both are now moving in different directions in life. If your hurt I think that you should express that to your friend. You always want to stay positive. I say just clearly state how you feel..If you get negative feed back in your heart you know that you tried yo make amends. Hope this helped. Stay positive - Koa Kristina

Mel  cheer up this happens to  everybody at least I think so. Keep and mind that people come in our life for a reason, season and sometimes a lifetime ,and now that god has blessed you with a lifetime friend your baby congrats.Since you 're   expecting  I would not question her because if she say something wrong or hurtful it would only cause more problems. But if this is not  the way that your friend normally act than please check up on her she could be depressed.
