While working in sales for a bi-lingual internet marketing training company, I answered the phone to field questions being asked by a somewhat "determined" woman on the other end of the line. Having been doing it for hundreds of calls in over 3 years, wow, I was impressed. This is when, I first met Shanesia. This was 2007 She was asking all the right questions. Questions one might (and should!) consider before embarking on an "internet opportunity". Questions, a mom, someone who must give good credence to her financial decisions would not only ask, but get the answers to. I admired her God given strength.
It wasn't long before she was out of the nest and soaring to find her own place in our virtual world. At the time my youngest of three was getting ready to go to college, my world was changing...a lot! I was still able to catch glimpses of Shanesia creating, creating fine tuning and honing, like a fine piece of ceramic art. She had long since given up other companies to create her own. 3 Ways to Survive in this Game Called, Entrepreneurship
1.) Know your market. Be competitive. And, NEVER under NO circumstances should you charge less than what you deserve. It's not your issue if a prospective customer can not afford your services or goodies. Bear in mind, there are a GAZILLION other customers that can. Get your money ladies!
…shortening your OWN POCKETS is not the business!
2.) Potential customer did not purchase your services on the first go-round? Do not get bent out of shape about it. Here's what you do:
-Be Persistent. Follow-up vis phone call or email. (Better yet, do both!) Avoid being a nuisance, but professionally handle your business. Landing NEW customers will keep your business flourishing. Turn your Go-getter attitude on and make your money!
3.) Get your mind RIGHT and get your marketing on! Social Media is lovely; however combined with MORE FREE and PAID strategies will increase your revenue drastically.
