Business Bio

My name is Kyshira and I currently a 4th year student in a 5 year MBA Program at Hampton University. On my campus I currently serve as the Student Coordinator for the HU Career Center Ambassador’s Program and Business Manager for the Hampton Script. Previously I served as President of the Rho Alpha Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc, Vice President for the Illinois Pre-Alumni Council, and I recently graduated from the Honors College Program. I serve as a mentor for 1st generation college students (I am 1st generation as well) within PRESS. I also hold membership within Sigma Beta Delta Business Honor Society as well as Golden Key International Honor Society. Professionally, I have had four corporate internship experiences within finance, private equity, insurance and recruiting. During the summer of 2012 I will have my 5th internship in banking.

My blog will provide advice on how to strategically maneuver your way from college to Corporate America. Posts will cover a range of topics from professional dress to internship do's and don'ts. I feel that I still have much to learn but I also have much to share from my own journey.
