Celebrate Home: The business opportunity that truly builds local communities

Celebrate Home is a low cost, high return business opportunity. It is a modern day home welcome service with an old school personal touch and a unique new school twist that welcomes new homeowners to the community. ASBE contacted the CEO and co-founders, Cindy Nicoletti and Dawn Varnes for more information about getting started with the Celebrate Home business opportunity and discovered why this is the perfect opportunity for anyone seeking to stimulate their local economy and change their own financial situation dramatically.

ASBE: What motivated the two of you to start the Celebrate Home brand?

Cindy: I began a mini version of the Celebrate Home opportunity through my salon in my local hometown in Salem, Wisconsin. I would offer local businesses the opportunity to be in my new customer gift bags for a very nominal fee. In this gift bag I would introduce the small business owners to my clients via a gift certificate and promotional item. My hope was that my new clients would become their new clients since we are all from the same community. Immediately local business owners saw the value of personal word of mouth referral marketing and the idea took off. I shared this idea with my close friend Dawn who was unemployed at the time. I thought this would be a great opportunity for her to get back on her feet while helping the local community at the same time. I asked her over and over to join me and help take this opportunity to the next level.

Dawn: As Cindy mentioned, I couldn't find a job at the time. To make matters worse I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and MS [Multiple sclerosis] a day after I lost my job. None of the countless number of resumes I sent out resulted in a phone call for an interview. Cindy kept trying to get me in on her business opportunity but I could not focus on that because I needed a job. But then one day, all of a sudden the light bulb went off and I started realizing how we could benefit and help the local businesses in our community. I also wanted to help the nonprofits in our area with getting the things they needed like volunteers and donations and we added this to our program. We began writing out the program for our business but decided we would appeal to new homeowners as a way to introduce them to the community. We transitioned from gift bags to gift baskets and took our idea to local business owners. In 60 days we secured 60 sponsors and our business has grown exponentially ever since.
