While most of us were preparing to catch the 4th of July fireworks last week, Chad Johnson (better known as Ochocinco) and Evelyn Lozada were getting hitched on an island. The reality star and Miami Dolphins player tied the knot in a private ceremony amongst 150 of their closest family and friends at the Le Chateau des Palmiers beachfront resort in St. Martin.Evelyn donned three outfit changes throughout the evening, which included an Ines Di Santo mermaid gown, a Di Santo Satin Mini dress and a catsuit designed by Jason Sky while her husband-to-be made a statement in a customized Astor & Black Tuxedo and a flashy pair of gold studded Christian Louboutin shoes. Shaunie O’Neal was most impressed with Chad’s outfit selection, telling VH1 ‘When he came down [the aisle], that boy was sharp! I’ve been talking about his outfit ever since I left. He look so good!’
Other than rings designed by Jason of Beverly Hills and wedding guests that included Shaunie, Suzie Ketcham and Chad’s former ‘Dancing With The Stars’ partner Cheryl Burke, additional details from the nuptials have been kept under wraps in an effort to keep the good stuff for the ‘Ev and Ocho’ reality show which airs in the Fall. Until then, you can catch a few more exclusive pics in this week’s issue of US Magazine and Life & Style.
