Is that OPRAH rocking a 'fro on the cover of "O"?

Yes ma'am it is. As a natural chica myself, it really makes me proud that the media mogul stepped out of her comfort zone to show women of color that natural hair is beautiful.

When I first decided to go natural, it had nothing to do with the fact that I was joining the wave of "going natural," it was because I was sick and tired of my scalp being FRIED, literally, by relaxers. The last one I got burned my scalp so bad I literally had sores all over my head. After that, I was OVER relaxers and decided to embrace my locs whether they were nappy or not.

Although I'm sure Oprah's 'fro is probably a relaxed braid-out, just her expressing the beauty of natural hair on her magazine will do so much for women of color in the natural world. I mean just look at the way she's beaming on the cover looking all cute and confident, that alone speaks volumes. I mean c'mon, it's OPRAH anything she says and does is pretty much law!
