What’s Your Secret? Celebrity Women OVER 40 Who Are Aging Gracefully
I guess it’s true what they say, “Black Don’t Crack” because it seems like some women just never age. Some may ask, what are you supposed to look like at a certain age, but who really knows. Check out these beautiful women who you couldn’t tell their age unless you asked them.
Taraji P. Henson is one of my favorite actresses right now. We all remember when she hit the scene in Baby Boy and she was in her mid to late 30s then. She maintains her sass and beautyvery well.
Age: 54
I swear Angela Bassett doesn’t look a day over 40. I’m not sure what she does to stay so beautiful, but she must be drinking from the fountain of youth.
Former fashion model turned actress Halle Berry never seems to age. I remember the first time I saw her in the movie ‘Last Boy Scout’ she seems to never change.
I used to love Stacey Dash on Clueless and had no idea she was already in her 30s playing a teenager. When she played the role as Val on Single Ladies, I had no idea she was only a few years younger than my mom. She hadn’t been on the scene for a while but she definitely hadn’t let herself go. She put me to shame considering I’m barely 30. I seriously want to know her secret.
I’m a HUGE fan of her reality show Braxton Family Values, and at times it’s hard to remember Toni is actually the oldest.
I love me some LisaRaye and she just seems to get younger and younger every year. Not to mention she can rock all white everything like none other. Sassy and classy diva.
Age: 39 (soon to be 40 later this year)
Gabrielle Union is another one of my favorite actresses. I had no idea she was 30 when she played a teenager in Bring It On. She will be 40 later this year and definitely doesn’t look a day over 25.
I know some of you are probably like “who is this” or “she’s not a celebrity,” and no she’s not, but this is my beautiful mother. She is aging very gracefully and I’m actually proud to have her as my mother. Now I know exactly what I’m going to look like when I reach her age lol. Later this year, she will turn the big 5-0 and I swear this lady doesn’t look a day over 30 and hell I’m 30. Every time we’re out in public, people are always like “are y’all sisters?” At first I used to get offended like “damn, what you trying to say, I look old or something?” LOL! Truth is, they were giving her a compliment and me as well because I will look just as good when I get her age.

Trim the fat! Not only in your diet, but anyone or anything that seems to just be clinging to you and weighing you down must go.
