Pole fitness has become a popular workout alternative for women of all ages, body types and professions. In addition to building core and upper body strength, pole fitness is also proven to build self-esteem and eliminate self doubt in many women.
The average pole fitness instructor earns $40,000-$50,000 a year, but when you have an international fan-base of over a half a million, the income opportunities are unlimited.
26-year-old entrepreneur and fitness instructor Tiara Walton, who goes by the alter ego name “Mizhani”, recently started her own pole fitness company, and kicked off the launch with a 50 city world tour. This unique fitness experience consists of a 2 hour class that focuses on flexibility, grace, pole art, spins, floor work and loads of fun with friends in popular destination cities including London, Montego Bay, New York and Atlanta.
With over 5 years of dancing experience, Tiara says she plans to expand her mobile fitness company beyond just pole dancing and will soon offer pilates, yoga, twerk fitness and more. The 3,000 sq ft. fitness center will open it’s doors in Charlotte, NC in 2016, but for now you can sign up for a Mizhani Pole Fitness class in a city near you on mizhanipolefitness.com
