Nichole Thompson is the Founder and CEO of Altum Solutions, a woman-owned business providing a comprehensive range of Program and Project Management consulting and training services to Government and Commercial programs. With over thirteen years of professional experience in IT operations and project management, Nichole has led many federal agencies and commercial clients through mission-critical business and technology transformations. Those clients include, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, Social Security Administration, US Marshals Services, and Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
Nichole has a solid acumen in adult learning theories, organizational behavior and adaptive delivery methods which contributes to her success as an Enterprise Agile Coach. Nichole’s skills in this discipline allow her to cultivate corporate culture, people, and environments to sustain rapid growth and digital disruption. Nichole has held numerous positions throughout her career, from Operations Analyst, Data Steward, Program Manager, Scrum Master to a highly sought-after Enterprise Agile Coach, giving her the business acumen and practical experience to effectively implement change and guide leaders on modern management practices. Nichole holds her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Liberty University, an MBA with a concentration in Information Systems Management, and is a doctoral candidate at Capella University studying strategy and innovation. In addition to a solid educational background, Nichole is also a Certified SAFe Practitioner Consultant (SPC4) through ScaledAgile.com, an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) of VMEDu, and is Scrum Master and Scrum Trainer certified through ScrumStudy. Nichole is also a member of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) DC Chapter and most recently joined the I’m Black in Tech network.
